Before a database is synchronized, the database must be optimized using the R:BASE Database Preparation Tool.
Column mapping links columns to be compared and synchronized.
The synchronization direction must be specified along with additional optios for actions to take.
A WHERE Clause can be applied to the synchronization process.
With instances where common data exists in both databases, a setting to prompt the user to confirm the correct data is available.
A log file can be enabled to record the synchronization.
